‘Dharohar’- SOCIAL SCIENCE AND SCIENCE WEEK

Blending Heritage with Contemporary and Science with Arts , Air Force School Agra  organized ,‘Dharohar’,  -Science &Social Science Week, for the classes VI- IX from 15 Feb, 2021 to 20 Feb, 2021 . A plethora of activities were conducted during the week. Each activity aimed at sensitizing the students to the fact that every aspect of life is intertwined and so everything needs to be looked at holistically.

In sync with the view, the following activities were conducted for the students:

Class VI – Presentation with environment- you are a tree in a school campus. Describe what you see around you, things you like and dislike importance in nature etc.(15^th Feb2021)

Class VII- Painting- Depicts life in Ocean. Painting should be informative. Use different blocks to give information. (17^th Feb 2021)

Class VIII- Autobiography of the Earth- depicting its journey and structure. (18^th Feb 2021)

Class IX – Quiz (Science, Social Science and traffic safety rules) 20th Feb2021

The enthusiasm, the devotion & the passion with which the students involved themselves in the celebration reflected that they not only are curious to understand and analyze scientific facts   to save the environment for better tomorrow but also are also striving to become the worthy torchbearers of our rich cultural heritage.  It was a wonderful learning experience for both, the students as well as the teachers.
